Pac-Man. This one was one of the first that I played as a child. The concept is simple, you play as Pac-Man-a circle with a mouth cut out of it-and you collect dots. There are ghosts chasing you around, if you touch one you lose, you can, however, eat one of the bigger dots. This makes it so that you are invincible (for a limited time) and you can eat the ghosts that have been chasing you! If you get stuck without the invincibility however, game over, but you can try again. One thing that makes me nostalgic is the "Wakka Wakka" Noise that Pac-Man makes, every time I hear it I think of my childhood!
There are many modern versions of Pong, but let's not go into details. Pong is that game where you play with another Player or a CPU and you hit a ball back and forth. Simple. This was the game that started everything. It was, to my knowledge, the first game ever made. It was also fun as hell to play when I was a kid, challenging my Dad and Mom, and playing with the CPU was fun too! Not much more to say about this game, but try and play a flash version of it if you haven't played it before!
So then, lastly, Super Mario Bros. This game is massive nowadays, nearly everyone has played it, and they keep on making games! In Super Mario Bros. you play as a plumber who sees Bowser, A fire-breathing turtle, kidnap Princess Peach. You go out to save her, jumping on goombas, koopa troopas, and more enemies that get in your way, But every time you get to a castle the Princess isn't there! (Spoiler) You never give up however, and eventually save the princess! They have made other games along with the original series, including Mario Kart, Mario Golf, and many more. You can play various flash versions of Super Mario Bros. too just to give it a try.
