Steam Greenlight
Hey there guys, sorry for not posting much today, I just started school and I only just got home. But, I can post now! This post is about my opinion on Steam Greenlight, Steam's new feature that lets you pick what indie games get produced, and what indie games are not worthy of being produced and published on Steam. Now, I personally liked this feature when it first came out, and don't get me wrong, It still interests me, but now that I see some of the games that people are making, i.e. Get rich or Die gaming http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=94142905&searchtext= and I have realised... this is just prone to trolls and people that think their game is awesome, when in fact, it is not. But, on the other hand, Steam Greenlight is an amazing place where people get to put awesome games on Steam that people have only dreamed of. For example, Slender Source http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=92917473&searchtext=, Which is a game where you have to run away from the scary-ass Slenderman. The Slenderman is very scary actually, but that's besides the point. It's games like these that I find are the main reason that Valve made Steam Greenlight- To let the gaming community show people what they can do! Leave your opinion in the comments below.
