Batman: Arkham City
*SPOILERS* Hey readers. This is the Batman: Arkham City review I promised in my Batman: Arkham Asylum review. Now, once again I haven't played this game in a short while, not too long, so some details may be incorrect, so just bare with me. Now this game follows the storyline of the Batman Comics, TV shows, and Movies. This is a sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, and I enjoyed this game a lot. The reviews for this game were very good, but it didn't get GOTY (game of the year) like it's predecessor. I liked this game for the Stealth, Combat and the storyline. The stealth in this game was very fun, and it was funny sometimes too, i.e. when you take out one guy and the others go check it out and then you take out the rest and they're like "what??!!". The combat in this game is fairly similar to it's predecessor, where it's the "beat em' up routine", but when the enemies start to get guns, it gets fairly challenging, as you have to take out enemies before they have a chance to shoot at you. There are various upgrades that can help you through your quest, like a weapon disabler, which disables the guns that enemies have. The story of this game is that you are put into Arkham City as Bruce Wayne, all part of his plan. When you are in, you get your Batsuit and you're off to stop Hugo Strange- the mastermind behind Arkham City. His plan is called Protocol 10. It basically consists of blowing up everyone and killing everything in Arkham City. Of course, Batman tries to stop him, and the story goes on. The Boss fights in this game are all very fun, even though there are only 5 or 6. You can also play as Catwoman, which is a different style of fighting and stealthing all together. There are also a number of side quests which include The Riddler and Zsasz. I give this game a.. hmm... let's say 9/10. Thank you all for reading and, as always, game on!
